laura's wedding

a little update on laura's wedding: it was fabulous. it was so laura...and she was beautiful. (i just realized that i think the word 'beautiful' is the only word that has 3 vowels in a row - hmm). i noticed she had dyed her hair a darker chocolate brown, and she let it grow out a little bit, very nice. and no colics today. her wedding dress was perfect and she managed to leave her toolbelt at home.

basically she was herself the whole night. i looked back at all the impromptu pictures i snapped of her and all of them are the typical 'mouth wide open--laughing' pictures minus the food. it was so laura, so happy. and of course she was out on the dance floor the whole night with all her girls dancing away to Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" and Shania Twain's "Feel Like a Woman." i'll have to post some pictures when i get home so check back.

today we're up at BlueFin listening to the waves crash up on the shore. yesturday we got about a foot of snow and it's so breathtaking being up here being surrounded by a blanket of white. last night we sat in the outdoor hottub and it started snowing again. i loved the feel of the snowflakes tingling on my skin. i slept like a baby last night after being in the hottub for 2 hours. it was a bit euphoric actually.

well, congrats to laura....and sorry about crashing your honeymoon...and....i'm proud of you for being on time to your wedding.
