a treasure stored in heaven

Shaphan was working at the 25 Columbia Hghts lobby desk the other day and told me about a special little visitor we had. A young girl, terminally ill with cancer, wanted to see Bethel before she died. She made a "wish" to the Make a Wish Foundation to travel to New York City so she could tour Bethel. The brothers, so touched by her desire, spent the afternoon with her walking around to all the departments introducing her to everyone. I was just thinking about how amazing it is...children generally so attracted to entertaining things like Disney Land or meeting their favorite star. But this special little one wasn't side-tracked by all that. She had such an appreciation for spiritual things, that seeing the house of God would be her "last wish" in life.
