my first day of work at 39 weeks prego!

ok....so i think this really is the last picture you'll see of me pregnant. i'm 39 weeks along with one to go....and i actually started a new job at the hospital this week on Monday!

a true blessing to me so i don't have to sit around and twiddle my thumbs waiting for D-day.

I have a week of classroom orientation this week and 3 days of computer training next week. we'll see how much i can get done....i'm really hoping all of it! although i have to say...i feel quite safe being at the hospital during the day!

my position is a casual position in a cardiac step-down unit, in which i'm only required to work 2 shifts a month, so basically if a nurse calls out sick or their short-staffed they'll call me to come in. the nice thing is i can either accept or decline, but the minimum requirement is only 2 shifts a month. (and i'm happy because the case load is only 3 patients per nurse)! shaphan also obtained a part-time job and he works only 2 blocks from the hospital at a medical equipment supply company, so i've been able to eat lunch with him just like we used to do at Bethl...at least for a few more days! :)

well, it's 5:30 in the morning and i have no idea why i'm up. i think i'm just too excited about everything going on. it's like i can't wait for the days to start....so my body starts them early! hahaha!

did my morning Wii fit test and couldn't resist documenting my Wii character who in this photo is shocked at her growing size.

i also found Shaphan's Wii rendition of Ethan and i'm trying to decide how i feel about it. my son is bald and partially looks like an alien.

speaking of, Ethan is growing every larger inside me. he's really packing on the weight this last month - 1/2 pound a week....all that baby fat called the 'brown fat.' :) he's found a new spot he likes and it's burrowing himself under my right rib cage. doesn't feel so good to me, but he loves that spot. just as long as he stays off my bladder i don't care where he goes.

well, there's a quick update on this week....my last week pregnant.....i hope!
